The Stress Prescription: 7 Days to More Joy and Ease -- Elissa Epel, PhD

I was at my friend's apartment and she showed me a book that she got from her roommate who works in publishing called 'the sleep prescription' and she said she liked it and this coincided with a time in my life when I was like, I need to focus on my well-being more and one of the similar books was this one, about stress. I am generally not open to self-help-y type books, but am slightly more open to them when the author is a credentialed medical doctor. I thought that this book was good. I'm not sure if I learned a lot new, but I think that it encouraged me to organize and continue my good habits, and it made me notice how stressed and anxious I often feel. I would recommend it if you're feeling a bit lost and would appreciate a relatively light read.
